Write your own letter

A well-written personal letter is an effective way to communicate with elected officials. They usually know what advocacy groups are saying about an issue. But they may not understand how their decisions on that issue affect you. A letter describing your experiences, observations and opinions could help sway them in your favor. Remember… it’s their job to represent you!

Tips
